This recent recording of Grade 1's work on rhythms shows some real progress. In their previous post they were trying to read very a simple rhythm made up of one and two beat notes. In this session they not only managed to do the original rhythm accurately, but they could add to it another more complex one and alternate between the two. There are one or two stray notes, but mostly they are reading and playing the rhythms accurately and it is obvious that as a class they now understand how it works.
