Grade 2's assembly this week was a wonderful guide to celebrations, both at different times of your life and in different cultures. They finished their performance by singing their own words to Beethoven's Ode to Joy, which they also accompanied on violins, cello and keyboards.

My friends come to celebrate
At the party there are balloons
We play games; have lots of fun.

Light the candles, eat the cake.
