Rock Around The Clock

Grade 7 have been learning about classic Rock 'n' Roll and they don't come any more significant for popular music historians than Rock Around The Clock.

We began by playing the chords on keyboards and looking at the bass line, then we divided up the instruments to make a band version. Hope you like it!
We also tried At The Hop by Danny and the Juniors which works perfectly with exactly the same backing. This is because it is a 12 bar blues and there are hundreds, if not thousands of songs that use the same underlying chord structure.
