Keeping a steady beat is the most basic and most important part of learning to play music. Reception have been having great fun practising this and making a lot of noise at the same time! You can hear them playing drums and shakers in two groups and each group has to count 8 beats each before letting the other group have their turn.

This work forms part of Reception's current Unit of Inquiry, the Central Idea of which is as follows, 'We can express ourselves without using words.'
